On this site you will find information on Walt Disney World's Theme Parks and Resorts as well as Universal Orlando's Resort's Theme Parks and Resorts. Orlando, Florida is one of the largest vacation destinations in the world with nearly 50 million visitors each year.

Walt Disney World Resort or simply Walt Disney World is the world's largest and most-visited recreational resort. It is located approximately 20 miles from Orlando and the resort area is 47 square miles and consists of 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and 31 on-site themed resort hotels (8 of these are not owned by Disney).

The 4 parks are: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. The water parks are Typhoon Lagoon And Blizzard Beach. Other popular attractions include: Downtown Disney, Disney's Boardwalk, Disney's Wedding Pavilion, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and the Walt Disney World Speedway.

Universal Orlando Resort is a theme park resort that is located in Orlando, Floirda directly of off Interstate 4. It consists of 2 theme parks, Universal CityWalk, and 3 hotels.

The 2 parks are: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, which features The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter. The 3 hotels are: Loews Royal Pacific Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel.

Universal CityWalk is an entertainment district that includes the 20 screen AMC Universal Cineplex as well as numerous restaurants, shops, and clubs. It is also home to Margaritaville, NBA City Cafe, NASCAR Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock Live, and Emeril's. The clubs at CityWalk include Latin Quarter, The Groove, Pat O'Briens, Rising Star, Bob Marley's, Red Coconut, and Cigarz.

Other attractions in Orlando are: Sea World Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa, which is about an hour drive away, LegoLand Florida, which will open in October of 2011 in Winter Haven, FL (also an hour drive from Orlando, and GatorLand, Medieval Times in Kississmee, FL(about 20 minutes from Orlando).
